This Month

December 1: High School Application Closes
December 4-8: Scholastic Book Fair
- Each class will visit the fair one day so students can choose and purchase books
- On the day of your child’s visit, send cash in small bills -- or -- set up a prepaid student "e-wallet" online here
- Families can shop the fair each day from 2:40pm-5pm or online here starting on December 4
- Parent volunteers are needed every day to organize the books, help teachers with student visits to the fair, and to help children to process their purchases! Please sign up on SignUp Genius!
December 8: Middle School Application Closes
- You still must apply if you want to attend Shuang Wen Middle School!
December 8 - 8:30 am: Free Winter Clothes Swap
- Swap children’s winter jackets, boots, hoodies, etc.
- All clothes must be clean, washed and in excellent condition.
December 13 - 7 pm: Parent Association General Meeting

December 15 - 5:30-7:30pm: Free Winter Potluck Dinner - School Auditorium
- Please bring a dish to share for dinner
  - Please consider bringing a dinner food - we often get an abundance of dessert!
- RSVP is mandatory. Space is limited to 150 people.
  - If you sign up and are no longer able to attend, please notify us. This will allow families on the waiting list to attend the event: contact@shuangwenpa.org
